Recovery & Wellness

Beacon of Hope Recovery & Wellness Center

At the Beacon of Hope Recovery & Wellness Community Center, we welcome those who are thinking about dealing with a behavioral health issue, those new to recovery, those maintaining their recovery, those in long-term recovery, and the loved ones of any of the above.

Located in Lexington Park next door to our Hope Place outpatient clinic, “the Beacon” is a free and open to the public center where peer support specialists combine their own lived experiences in recovery with training to deliver a menu of support groups and sober recreational activities weekly.

Peer support specialists provide individualized coaching in person, recovery check-ups by phone, family support, and specialized support for those dealing with grief. The center also regularly hosts sober parties and outings for the community and welcomes those in recovery or their family members who are looking to give back. Members of the Beacon team also do regular outreach in Walden’s treatment facilities and are even known to Pop Up in the community.
